She’s so fantastic for being able to do this on such a public level. It’s reported that her wife and family are being very accepting. As well, in the media (and in comments from fans) I’ve only seen positive feedback and congratulations.
I think her decision to come out is going to affect the transgender community across North America in a really positive way.
