For the last 9 months I have been very interested in science that is out of the realm of mainstream prescription. For MTF transgendered patients feminization is out of reach for some, due to economic or psychological reasons.

Research of ‘herbal estrogen,’ I found a lot of discouraging information.

However, I personally feel like there is a misunderstanding of what herbal transition can provide.

Look at this beautiful girl.

This is Justine. I know her from school and she’s one of the friendliest, sweetest girls I know. She’s one of those people who can light up a room and make anyone smile. She wouldn’t hurt a fly.

I read the news today and found out she is in the hospital.

She was viciously assaulted and set on fire. I can’t think of any reason why anyone would do this to someone as wonderful as Justine. But the reason’s obvious. Justine is a transgender. She was born a male. It sickens me that there’s still people in the world that can have hatred for a person solely based on their sexuality/gender. Please pray for Justine. She’s still in the hospital and I hope she’s okay. She deserves to live.

This is terrifying, that someone would have so much hatred. Harassment and assault based on trans* status is a REAL concern, and a legitimate safety hazard. I myself have been harassed simply for trying to use the bathroom on my school campus. I sincerely hope that this case is tried as a hate crime, and thank God she is alive. Please send her positive thoughts and energy, for she is a survivor; most aren’t this lucky.
